THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL

THE THREE ANGELS MESSAGE PART 1: The 3 Angels message is an everlasting Gospel, How? In the sense that it is a message that has existed since eternity and it’s there forever: IT IS A MESSAGE THAT DECIDES ETERNITY IN THE END-TIME. And if we be precise, it’s all about the character of God. And the character of God is only revealed vividly in His Moral Law (Ten Commandments) which Satan being unable to keep, was banished and condemned Ezekiel 28:13-19, Isaiah 14:12-20. This message is a message that we all shall be judged with, it’s the standard measure of judgment James 1:25, James 2:12. Because the Lord is a good God He doesn’t force anyone to obey it but only willing souls and if you have realized the Law of God is perfect and for those who obey it have life Nehemiah 9:29, Ezekiel 20:11 and Leviticus 18:5. IT’S A MESSAGE OF OBEDIENCE AND NOT A MESSAGE OF SINCERITY FOR YOU CAN BE SINCERE BUT SINCERELY WRONG.

THE THREE ANGELS MESSAGE PART 2: The first angel’s message “Fear God and give him glory for the hour of his judgment is come, worship Him who made the earth and the heaven and the sea and the springs of water”. When we talk about the fear of God, it’s always accompanied by obedience to His commands Eccles 12:13, Proverbs 1:7. And hence Jesus says that “if ye love me, keep my commands” John 14:15. In it we also find that we acknowledge God as the Creator in which the Forth Commandment reveals who is the Creator of the heavens and the earth, Ex 20:8-11: “Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it”. The second aspect of the First angel message is giving God glory, how? It is a Health Message in itself because we are told that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit 1 Corin 316-17, 1 Corinth 6:19-20. So we are supposed to give honour and glory to God by the way we eat, 1 Corinth 10:31 and the way we conduct ourselves Romans 12:1-2. For those who think that you can now eat anything you find in front of you, then think twice because when the Lord comes those who have not heed to the health message and shared in the unclean and abominable flesh which Leviticus 11: describes will meet the Jesus Christ to get their reward Isaiah 66:17.

THE THREE ANGELS MESSAGE PART 3: The second angel’s message “Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great, which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries”. Speaking of Babylon the word itself comes from the word Babel meaning Confusion Genesis 11:1-9 (9 precisely). The wine of Babylon has been described well in Jeremiah 51:1-7. First, what is the confusion all about! This is where we differ with many religions and many school of thoughts. We believe that the dead are dead as the Bible puts it in Eccle 9:5-10, but the wine (teaching) of the Babylonians say that the body returns to dust but the spirit hovers around in a blessed state watching over their loved ones. LIES. For the spirit is the breath of life combined with our identity (our own actions on earth) and it returns to the Creator as a living testimony against or for us. And the entire world is drunk with this wine and follows after this LIES Revelation 17:8. Another wine of Babylon is about Judgment where those who were half good receive punishment via Heaven which they have even tried to edit the Bible to fit it in NIV version 2 Peter 2:9. We know that when a person dies, what awaits him is a reward Hebrew 9:27 and nothing like purgatory. About JUDGMENT, the heavenly court is like the earthly court where we have three parties. The offended and the offender and the witnesses Deuteronomy 19:15-21. Here the offended is Christ and the offender is the sinner and the witnesses are our deeds recorded from the books of records Daniel 7:10, Obadiah 1:15. Just as the court seats and listens to evidence that’s the same way the heavenly court reviews evidence against us using the books of deeds which holds our records Rev 20:12a. Now because what awaits us is a reward or death, let’s review the earthly court. if a person is found guilty by the witness provided and is worthy of execution, he doesn’t go to execution there and then but a date is set for the execution just as heaven when the records in heaven are against us and we refused to repent the investigative process passes sentence which will be executed at the set date which we know its the second resurrection. So when Jesus comes, he has reviewed our case thoroughly and where we were supposed to repent and we did not and refused the sentence is passed and he is not coming again to establish a court but execute judgment hence we say that right now he is reviewing the case and giving us opportunities those of us who are still living so that when he passes sentence, we may not be found wanting. Judgment started with Adam or the dead and continues with the living. By this investigation you are given identity, that identity it’s your own and not other. Ezra remains Ezra and so on. When Hitler will rise, the same mentality he had is what regains Rev 14:13. Basically investigative judgment is there to gather evidence to pass your name to the Book of Life Rev 201:12b Phil 4:3, Exodus 32:32, 33.

Notice again this parallels:

M’t:22:32: I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

M’r:12:27: He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.

Lu: 20:38: For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

Joh: 6:69: And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God. Now, how does a person who is dead be living if this not a teaching of an immortal soul! Yes it is not a teaching of an immortal soul but a true teaching, cause our deeds never die when we cease living but they bear testimony of who we were. Example, Jesus in person is not present with us, but we have his testimony in form of a Bible and the Holy Spirit is a witness just the same as we are not present in heaven but the books of our deeds recorded by our guardian angels are in heaven to witness of our exact conduct. The instigative judgment don’t need our personal presence in heaven because in real sense our deeds are living proofs of who we are hence we believe that in our every day life, there is sin blotted out on our records or sin added on it Ezekiel 33:12-16 and so when Jesus comes its executive judgment. When you reach heaven and your spouse, brother, sister, mother, father or relative is missing and you ask Jesus, “where are my brethren?” The books of your brethren will be there for a witness. My fellow Christians, what you will find is that those books were examined thoroughly and there is not mistake why someone is missing in heaven hence it’s called before that INVESTIGATIVE JUDGMENT. This work of examining those who are missing in heaven is the done during the millennium (1000) years of peace.

What is the mystery behind the Millennium or 1000 years of peace in heaven? Its removing doubts that heaven exists and that our friends didn’t make it. It’s a Sabbath Rest. Remember this allusion 2 Peter 3:8? Hebrews 4:9-11. Satan now dwells in exile (here on earth) as we do nothing but Rest (Sabbath). The fact that there will be nothing living on earth after the saints have been taken Jeremiah 4:23-26, the earth is in confusion as it were in Genesis 1:1 and the wicked destroyed by the Splendor of Jesus coming 2 Thess 2:8 makes a perfect exile land for the Devil. The investigative judgment has then to be carried on beforehand so that the conclusion of the matter may not be one-sided Deuteronomy 19:15-21 and Genesis 18:16-25. Another thing is about mediation. The only mediator of human race is Jesus Christ and any other created being is fallible and is also judged by the word of God hence not being above it. HOW CAN A TRUE CHRISTIAN CONFESS HIS SINS TO ANOTHER FALLIBLE HUMAN BEING FOR REMISSION! Hence we look at only Jesus Christ who is a High Priest in the Heavenly Sanctuary Hebrews 9:11-15 and the Author and Finisher our faith Hebrews 12:2. The power that be have played with the word of God Daniel 7:25 hence “And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication”.

THE THREE ANGELS MESSAGE PART 4: MUSIC AND MUSIC SABBATH: The third angel’s message: COME OUT OF HER THAT YOU MAY NOT RECEIVER HER MARK. Many have asked the part of music in the 3 Angels Message. If you look what liberals call music in the church is not music at all but imitation of the world inside the Church. We take what is outside and bring inside. While we know rhythm denoted movement, the movement that we should have is the movement of God which is revealed in the character of God. When we do that, a melody which emanates from the word of God is put in our heart and what it produces is Spiritual Music. Ephesians 5:18-20. Colossians 3:15-17. Now, according to Paul the melody (Spirit/Word of God) should fill your heart and while meditating upon the Spiritual things it creates music in your heart. I wonder how you can be filled with Spirit in dancing and bedlam of noises that were at Mount Camel and still think you are worshiping the Lord. In fact the music we have nowadays in church only draws rebellion instead of bringing harmony in what we have learnt from the Bible. What the Israelites had learnt from Egypt (world) was what they were exercising and when Moses came from the Mount the Bible records Ex 32:18-19: “And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear. And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses’ anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount”. So Moses calls their music NOISE and the next thing he sees is DANCING.

That was enough to make him break the tablets. Friends another thing that will confuse us in the end-times is music. Either your melody (walking) is guided by God which produces reverence of worship before God or it’s guided by the Adversary which produces sensation and amusement and entertainments instead of reverence in the House of God. It is a time for those who worship God in truth and Spirit come back to purity of reverence in worship. Now this is the what the Bible records Number 25:1-3 “And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab. And they called the people unto the sacrifices (music and dancing) of their gods: and the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods. And Israel joined himself unto Baal-peor: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel.” What seduced the children of Israel at Shittim was Moabites music which was contrary to the music Israel had been taught. The chief sinners! Zimri (Musical) and Cozbi (Deceitful) and an Israelite and a Moabite both from chief families; in this place DECEITFUL MUSIC was combined to draw the Children of God into whoredom. Now do you know where Shittim was!!!!!! Just some miles to Canaan and the children of Israel got lost and were made to wonder in the desert. Brothers and Sisters we are at a spiritual Shittim (last steps) just about to a Spiritual Canaan (Heaven).

RECAPITULATION AND ENLARGEMENT

Rev 14:6, 7: And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. The focus of the first angel is the Gospel that has been brought by the one who created heaven and earth.

Paul defines the content of the Gospel

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

…and John described it thus…

John 1:10-14 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.

EVERLASTING GOSPEL:

M’t:24:14: And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

The Gospel which announces the glad tidings of the everlasting kingdom of Christ, about to ensue immediately after the “judgment” on Antichrist, announced as imminent in Re 14:7. As the former angel “flying through the midst of heaven” (Re 8:13) announced “woe,” so this angel “flying in the midst of heaven” announced joy. The three angels making this last proclamation of the Gospel, the fall of Babylon (Re 14:8), the harlot, and the judgment on the beast worshippers (Re 14:9-11), the voice from heaven respecting the blessed dead (Re 14:13), the vision of the Son of man on the cloud (Re 14:11), the harvest (Re 14:15), and the vintage (Re 14:18), form the compendious summary, amplified in detail in the rest of the book.

What is the gospel all about by the way? Birth, Life, Death and Resurrection of Christ. Why? Notice the following

Heb 2:11, 12, 17: For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee. Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Heb 3:1, 12: Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

So we are shown the life of Jesus Christ so that we can imitate it not through our strength but through His strength:

Ti 2:10-12: Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Heb 5:9, 7:19, 11:40, 13:21: And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

WHAT IS PERFECTION AND RIGHTEOUSNESS?

Mal:4:2: But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

Ec 12:13, 14: Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

How do we get the righteousness through grace?

Psalms 119:172: My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.

THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL IS TIED WITH THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF JESUS CHRIST AND HIS LAW WORKS AS A MIRROR TO THAT RIGHTEOUSNESS THOUGH IT DOES NOT DO AWAY SIN, IT POINTS THE SINNER TO THE SAVIOUR.

The commandments of God are an everlasting gospel in the sense that they define the character which when obtained it is everlasting. The character of God is everlasting and His character is revealed in His Righteous, Holy and Royal Law, a transcript of His Kingdom to come and so Jesus sums up by saying:

M’t 5:13-19: Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his Saviour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

The everlasting gospel is to expose Satan and his wiles and vindicate the image of God; it is a message of allegiance to the one you believe in. The Kingdom of Light verses the Kingdom of darkness. The two Kingdoms are defined by the principles that govern them. The very first gospel that was preached to Adam and Eve is the same Gospel that is being preached to us “honor God and worship Him alone” and that is revealed in the first four Commandments and the last six are in relation to the neighbor. So when the Seventh Day Adventists deal with the first angels message and incorporate the Health and Ten Commandments, we have to understand it’s a package of the Life of Christ and Character formation which can only be defined by His commands:

Joh 14:15: If ye love me, keep my commandments.

1Jo 2:6: He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

How do you walk with Him while transgressing? And What is the Biblical definition of transgression?

Jas 4:17: Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

1Jo 3:4: Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

EMPHASIZING THE LAW IS NOT LEGALISM NEITHER DOES BEING OBEDIENCE TO IT IS RIGHTEOUSNESS BY WORKS AS SOME WOULD VIEW IT. SUPPOSE A LOVING FATHER TOLD YOU TO DO SOMETHING AND YOU OBEYED, WILL YOU CALL IT LEGALISM!

The Everlasting Gospel is the “Good News” about Jesus and the plan of redemption and salvation from sin through faith in Jesus Christ–the connecting link between God and man (John 14:6, Genesis 28:12-13). This glorious gospel declares that we can be freely justified before God (Isaiah 45:25, Romans 3:28, Galatians 2:16, Romans 3:24, Titus 3:7, 1 Corinthians 6:11, Romans 5:9, 3:4, Matthew 12:37, Romans 2:13, James 3:20-24), obtain grace and strength to stand (Romans 5:1-5, Ephesians 6:10-18, Galatians 5:1), warring against and victoriously overcoming all temptations and sins (Romans 8:1-2) unto righteousness (Romans 6:16, 5:21) and continued sanctification through Christ and His Holy Spirit (Jeremiah 23:6, Isaiah 61:10, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4, 2 Thessalonians 2:13) which strengtheneth us (Philippians 4:13). This gospel is not “all faith” or “all grace” which shuts out our efforts, nor is it “all works” which shuts out Jesus. It is the uniting of divinity and humanity–God working and us working for our salvation (Phil 2:12-13, Rev 22:14).

In it we are justified and sanctified

What is Justification? Justification is the gift from God of full and complete pardon from passed acknowledged, confessed, and forsaken sins (Proverbs 28:13, 1 John 1:9). Justification is manifested by the transformation of character, and is not given or retained while transgressing God’s law (James 2:24). It is not “once justified (saved) always justified (saved)!”

What is Sanctification? Sanctification is the continual growing in grace by daily studying God’s word (1 Corinthians 6:11, 1 Timothy 4:5, John 17:19) and daily dying to self by conforming to God’s will. We must keep God’s law to attain and maintain sanctification. Thus it means perfect love, perfect obedience, perfect conformity to God’s will (Isaiah 5:16, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4, 2 Thessalonians 2:13).

What does it mean to “fear God”? To fear God means to love (Deuteronomy 10:12), reverence (Psalms 89:7), trust (Psalms 115:11), serve (Joshua 24:14, 1 Samuel 12:14, 24), hope (Psalms 33:18-22, 147:11), keep His commandments (Deuteronomy 31:12-13, 17:19, 5:29, Psalms 112:1), and depart from evil (Proverbs 3:7, 16:6, 2 Chronicles 19:7, Exodus 20:20, Psalms 34:11, 14, Job 28:28, Proverbs 8:13).

What does it mean to “give glory to Him”? To give glory to God means to reflect His righteous character in your own life and actions (Exodus 33:18-23, 34:5-8, Acts 10:35, 1 Corinthians 15:33-34, Psalms 29:1-2, 86:7-13).

What does it mean to “worship Him”? To worship God means that we honor, serve and obey God and Him alone (Psalms 96:9, 29:2, 5:7, 1 Chronicles 16:29, Matthew 4:10, John 4:23-24), that our spiritual allegiance is to God and Him alone and not to any man or church or government or nation or power (Acts 5:29, Galatians 1:10, Psalms 118:6, 8-9).

Re 14:6, 7: And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Lazy Christianity speaks about what Christ did but true Christianity speaks about

  1. What Christ did for him
  2. What He is doing in him and
  3. What He is doing through him. A message of victory over sin as it is in Phil 4:13, 1John 3:9, 5:18.

But just as the child crawls before it walks so are the three angels message. You won’t reach or be benefited with the 2nd n 3rd without the first.
